About Us
The purpose of establishing this institution is to serve the cause of Islam and Sunnism, provide scholarly and reasoned responses to sacrilege of the Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic Culture, and other sacred elements, and to defend these sanctities with grace and wisdom by promoting the true teachings of Islam and spreading the noble morals of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Established through the collaboration of Jameatur Raza Barkatul Uloom and Imam Maturidi Educational Trust, our inaugural department, Specialisation in Theology and Philosophy, is a two-year program selecting scholars from renowned Islamic institutions across India.
Our mission is to provide high-quality education and training, shaping individuals into national and global ambassadors of Islam. These scholars will be guardians of the Quran and embody the noble character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, carrying the concerns and pain of the Ummah and striving for its well-being.
We also aim to preserve and promote the teachings of Imam Abu-Mansur Al-Maturidi رحمة الله عليه to address the challenges facing the Muslim world today.
Structure and Educational System
- The daily class schedule is divided into six hours, further split into three lectures, each lasting two hours. Instead of focusing on a single book, each lecture revolves around a specific topic. Lecturers prepare the topics in advance using trusted and authentic references. These topics include insights from the rich Islamic scholarly heritage while addressing the needs of the modern era.
- At the end of each lecture, students are guided to explore related books, sources, and references. They are also encouraged to write essays on the discussed topics to deepen their understanding.
- To ensure better learning, subjects are spread according to their importance, some are twice a week and some are once only. The academic year is divided into two terms: First Term and Second Term. Each term includes exams based on the subjects taught. Marks are distributed equally between first-term exams (50%) and the final exams (50%).
Our Team
Our team of highly skilled and dedicated teachers, both local and international, is remarkable. Under their supervision, the journey of learning continues to progress. Leading the way are specialized teachers from Al-Azhar University in Egypt, experts in theology and philosophy. They are joined by graduates of Al-Azhar from India, teachers from various renowned universities and educational centers, and dedicated roles such as Social Media Managers and Administrative Staff. With unwavering dedication, hard work, sincerity, and compassion, they tirelessly shape raw talent into shining gems.
Medium of Instruction
Arab teachers instruct in Arabic. Indian teachers utilize a blend of Arabic and Urdu, with some also teaching in English.
